Predictive Maintenance & Digital Twins
Virtual representations of physical processes, machines and sensors can be utiliesd to monitor behvaviour and detect emerging problems. Predictive maintenance can be used to improve production efficiency (reduction of machine down time) and to minimise damage to equipment. Digital twins allow testing of scenarios, sensor placement and simulation to improve detection of faults and emergent issues.
